Fall 2010 Class Schedule:
This is a two part class. The first of which will be in the shop going over everything you need to know to get up and running in fly fishing from essential gear and knots to understanding the terminology and entomology.
The second part of the class will be a hands-on casting clinic at a local private pond which is stocked with some huge fish!
Sept. 23rd (7:00PM - 9:00PM at the shop)
Sept. 25th (9:00AM - 12:00PM at the private pond)
Class size limited to 8 anglers

Intro to Fly Tying (Freshwater)
(5 consecutive Thursday nights starting October 21st)
Always wanted to pick up fly tying but didn't know how to get started? Well, here's your opportunity! Local fly tying legend and commercial fly tier, Rich Julian, will walk you through tying the classics that will work virtually anywhere. There is no better feeling than fooling wily trout with flies that you tied yourself. Here's your opportunity to learn from one of the best in the business!

(3 consecutive Tuesday nights starting Oct. 19th)
Saltwater fly fishing more your thing? Always wanted to learn how to tie flies like the pros? Well then this is the class for you! Our very own fly tying Jedi, Dave Armstrong, will walk you through tying some of the most effective flies ever created for all things that swim in the ocean. Whether you are targeting stripers, bluefish, tuna...you name it, you will learn the tips and techniques of the pros to create flies that these fish just cannot resist!
