MORE Reports:

Assabet Stocking - Fall 2008

***

October 10, 2008 - Assabet River

There are good numbers of fish throughout the West Concord area.  You're best bet is to fish either streamers or midges, although there are good numbers of both caddis and olives coming off as well.

***

October 3, 2008 - Western MA

The waters in the Western part of the state have been fishing very well.  The fishing on top has been spotty, but if you don't mind fishing smaller pheasant tails and caddis pupa subsurface it is well worth the trip.

September 30, 2008 - Farmington

There are a variety of bugs coming off the Farmington River right now - tan caddis, BWOs, Isonychia.  Although the dry fly fishing is inconsistent, the nymphing action continues to be very productive.
